In the US we typically offer summer internships for three months. Internships abroad can be longer.
Because we appreciate your commitment and dedication, you will receive appropriate compensation for interning. The amount varies from location to location depending on the cost of living and according to the nature of your studies, the duration of your internship, and how many semesters you have already completed.
